Asheville Jewish Film Festival

The Asheville Jewish Film Festival, presented by the UNC Asheville Center for Jewish Studies, features four films with Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon screenings throughout October and November. The festival opens with a reception on October 10.
Opening Night Reception: Saturday, October 10 at 5:30 p.m. — Mountain Suites, Highsmith Student Union
Film Screenings:
- “Once Upon My Mother”: Saturday, October 10 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 11 at 2 p.m. — Highsmith Student Union
- “Sabbath Queen”: Saturday, October 17 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 18 at 2 p.m. — Mullen & James Humanities Hall — post-film discussion to follow for both showings
- “The Sea”: Saturday, October 24 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, October 25 at 2 p.m. — Mullen & James Humanities Hall — post-film discussion to follow for both showings
- “The Ring”: Saturday, November 7 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 8 at 2 p.m. — Mullen & James Humanities Hall — post-film discussion to follow for both showings
