A native of New England and a third-generation music educator, C. Brent LaCasce holds an undergraduate B.A. in Music Education from Granite State College on piano and trumpet, and a M.M. in jazz studies on trumpet from the University of Southern Maine.  After a 20+ year teaching career in New England, Brent started a career in the music industry with Roland Corporation.  Currently the Southeast US district manager for Yamaha US, Brent remains an active performer, writer, clinician, and educator on his various instruments.   A veteran of the US Army Band of Europe and a lifelong performer on voice, piano and trumpet, Brent has performed in most US states and over 30 countries.  He has shared a stage with Kevin Norton, Gary Smulyan, Scott Tibbs, NRBQ, Robert Kraft, Larry Goldings, Delbert McClinton, Heather Masse (a former student as well) and many others.  As an active clinician and adjudicator, Brent has worked with secondary and post-secondary ensembles from Maine to Florida.
