Choosing Peace After Loss: Israel/Palestine, Civil Discourse, and the Courage to Listen

The UNC Asheville Center for Jewish Studies presents Aziz Abu Sarah, co-author of “The Future Is Peace: A Shared Journey Across the Holy Land.” Drawing from his experiences and work in peacebuilding, Abu Sarah will explore nonviolence, dialogue, shared humanity, and the possibility of choosing peace after profound loss.
The presentation will be followed by a book signing. This event is free and open to the public and will take place in the Blue Ridge Room of Highsmith Student Union.
