While serving as the full-time Career Coach for the Career Center, I take on numerous roles. When not assisting students with career development strategies, I co-supervise the Career Peers student employees, lead marketing initiatives for the office, and support students through exploring the various majors that the University of North Carolina Asheville has to offer. I have a strong passion for ensuring students remain successful and responsible while enrolled in post-secondary education, and hope to continue encouraging students to be the strongest version of themselves – inside the classroom and out.

I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana and attended Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Theatre Education & English Education and a Master of Arts in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education. Before I moved to Asheville, I completed a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Malta, a small island nation in the Mediterranean just south of Sicily. Throughout my English Teaching Assistantship, I taught language arts courses to middle and high school students and lectured in research writing to students at the University of Malta. When I was not in the classroom, I was traveling Europe extensively, and visited 16 countries in just ten months.

My partner and I relocated to Asheville in June of 2025, and are looking forward to continuing our exploration of the Blue Ridge mountains and the unique artistic & cultural scene. Working at the University of North Carolina Asheville is a dream of mine, and I cannot wait to continue connecting with the diverse population of students!
