Live on the Lawn: Welcome Concert

Enjoy an evening of live music at Greenwood Baseball Field for the Welcome Concert. Doors open at 6 p.m., with music beginning at 7 p.m.  Planet Ruti will take the stage before headliner Weston Estate performs at 8:00 p.m. Bring your friends and settle in for an evening of live music and Bear’s BBQ as the campus community comes together to celebrate the start of a new academic year.

Bag Policy

UNC Asheville has implemented a clear bag policy.  Only clear 12″x12″ bags or gallon size storage bags or small clutches are allowed and are subject to search.  For additional information, click here. Guests may bring in a bag that does not meet the clear bag specifications if it is required for a medical purpose. Guests carrying medically necessary bags or equipment into a venue will be required to have their bag inspected and tagged by security. For questions about medical equipment or other needs please contact the Athletics Operations office at 828-251-6930. Diapers and other baby supplies can be carried in a clear bag. Each member of a family, including children, would be allowed to carry an approved clear bag and a clutch purse into the venue.
