Matthew Palumbo, Visiting Lecturer
Mr. Matthew Palumbo is a Visiting Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina Asheville. He earned his Master of Science in Mathematics from Nicholls State University and his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of New Orleans.
He loves mathematics, teaching, and inspiring students in the classroom. Some of his favorite topics to explore include projectile motion and the mathematics of games of chance. On campus, you will often find him at math department events or in Brown Dining Hall with his kids. Off campus, he enjoys cheering from the sidelines at local sporting events and exploring nearby waterfalls.
