Dr. Jerusha Myrick is a business leadership scholar with more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing, operations management, change management, and continuous improvement. As the Managing Business Partner of Laser Precision Cutting, Inc. and Myrick’s Custom Fab, Inc., Dr. Myrick oversaw strategic planning, financial management, supplier and customer relations, quality systems, and daily operations. Her professional background includes organizational leadership, production scheduling, supply chain collaboration, human resources, process improvement, change management, Lean Six Sigma, and organizational quality systems.

Dr. Myrick earned a Ph.D. in Strategic Business Leadership from Anderson University. Her research examined transformational leadership, employee engagement, and the sustainability of Lean Six Sigma Initiatives. She earned a dual master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Strategic Leadership from Pfeiffer University and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering Management from UNC Asheville.

Dr. Myrick is committed to connecting business theory with real-world examples in the classroom. She creates engaging, applied learning experiences to encourage students to think critically, analyze complex problems, identify optimal solutions, and lead with integrity.

Dr. Myrick enjoys volunteering with local organizations serving veterans, children, and individuals experiencing housing. She currently serves with the ABCCM’s Veterans Village and Asheville-Buncombe Continuum of Care System Performance Committee
