Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, higher education has been a part of my life from the very beginning. I fell in love with the southern Appalachians when earning my Bachelor's degree in History at Young Harris College. I then spent some time in Boston earning my Master's in Higher Education from Boston College. Before coming to Asheville, I worked at the University of Georgia and Lees-McRae College.

I am excited to be a UNCA Bulldog and look forward to helping students turn their dreams to reality. Reasons to meet with me include exploring your major/career options, reviewing application documents, and generally preparing for life after graduation. Outside of work, I enjoy reading fantasy series, browsing farmer's markets, and spending time with my two dogs.
