Submit Your Enrollment Deposit
You’ll need to submit your enrollment deposit before you can register for embark Orientation.
Once you submit your enrollment deposit, you will receive emails about the upcoming semester, including information about registering for embark Orientation, the Online Advising and Registration (OAR) course, course registration, and tips to help you prepare for the upcoming semester.
Once you receive information regarding registering for embark Orientation, complete your registration as soon as possible. Unless there are extenuating circumstances, we are unable to open sessions once they have been filled due to limited space.
Final 2018 embark Orientation Session
If you were unable to attend the embark Orientation sessions during June or the transfer Quick Start sessions in July, you’ll need to attend our make-up session to fulfill your orientation requirement:
Friday, August 17, 2018: 9 – 11 a.m. in Highsmith Union Grotto
Check-in will open at 8:30 a.m. in the Highsmith Union Grotto.
Since the final embark Orientation coincides with freshman move-in, be sure to arrive on campus early to ensure you have enough time to find parking.
The online registration form for the August 17, 2018 make-up embark Orientation session is open and accepting registrations. Parents, family members, and other guests do not need to complete a separate registration form. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call at 828.232.2417.

- To do this, log into your OnePort account and select the Housing Portal.
- Once there, go to menu item titled “Forms and Agreements” and select “early arrival.”
