Events

Experience a range of music at UNC Asheville through weekly and seasonal events. From classical recitals to contemporary performances, our Music Department hosts a wide array of events that celebrate musical diversity and talent. Events include Live at Lunch, UNCA Loves Piano Series, faculty showcase concerts, and Asheville Singers performances, as well as a number of ensemble concerts.

Piano Camp

Open to rising 6-12 grade students, UNC Asheville offers a week-long piano camp where you develop your skills alongside your peers. We welcome intermediate- to advanced-level players who can bring two memorized pieces as well as music for study.

Auditions

We require that prospective music majors audition for acceptance into the program. In addition, all ensembles are open to all UNC Asheville students, but some require auditions. Held twice yearly in person on campus, auditions allow us to get to know you as a musician.
