UNC Asheville management major Chris McKoy stepped out of his usual studies to explore the history of the Shiloh School, a school developed for students in the historically African-American Shiloh community in Asheville. He presented the stories he discovered at the 2018 African Americans in WNC and Southern Appalachia Conference.
