Valeria Tezzon was born in a bilingual German/Italian region of northern Italy. After studying in Bologna, she completed her PhD. Program in Classics at the Humboldt Universität in Berlin (Germany), where she lived for four years. In addition to her studies in ancient Greek and Latin, her passion for modern languages led her to improve her knowledge of English, Spanish, and Modern Greek. In her spare time, she enjoys teaching ESL through the Literacy Council of Buncombe County. As a teacher, Valeria is focused on student engagement as a way to facilitate the learning process.
