Thom joined the North Carolina Center for Health and Wellness team in the Fall of 2020 through work with the Social Bridging Project. His role as Co-Coordinator and Leader Caller has him working to support those making calls for the Social Bridging Project, while continuing to serve and work directly with participants of the program.

He received his Bachelors in Education from Warren Wilson College in 2017, and afterwards primarily worked in Substance Use and Recovery programming in the Asheville community. Thom will be pursuing his Masters in Social Work with a focus on Aging and Older Adults this coming fall.  He hopes to continue to build infrastructure and programming that serves older adults in North Carolina and nationwide.
