Terry Poling has 30+ years of diverse and comprehensive experience in Leadership Development, Change Management, Organization Development and Training. He spent eighteen of those years in senior-level positions with Motorola, Fidelity Investments, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Honeywell.  As a Manager for Motorola University, he managed the New England Regional training function.  He was responsible for leading the design and implementation of Fidelity’s first executive development and succession planning process. He was also responsible for establishing BCBS University for BlueCross BlueShield of Massachusetts. Terry is currently President of two independent consulting, coaching and training firms. For the past 20 years, Terry has been President and Managing Partner with MetaDynamics, Inc. a Michigan-based organizational development consulting and training firm specializing in change management and leadership development.  A partial list of clients includes Abbott Laboratories, Eaton, Ascension Health, Johnson & Johnson, and Robert Bosch LLC. Terry is also President of The Poling Group, Inc. a North-Carolina based executive coaching and senior leadership team development consulting firm.  A partial list of clients includes Teleos, Bath Consultancy, Unilever, and BorgWarner. He also lived in Africa working for the government of Ethiopia to redesign their telecommunications business and define the new leadership competencies and learning curriculum needed for their new organization. Terry has taught communication, human resource management, and organization behavior courses for Texas A&M University, Northeastern University, Stonehill College, and Oakland University.  He has an undergraduate degree in Education.  He has a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Miami University and a second Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology & Organizational Studies from Boston College.  He has authored several articles and publications and spoken on a variety of topics at both national and regional conferences.  Terry is currently VP of Programming elect for the Western North Carolina Human Resource Association and a recent inductee to the NC Society of Human Resource Management’s 2018 Hall of Fame.  He is also Chairman of the Board for Integral Leadership in Action.
