Silke Crombie (she/her) joined the Highsmith Team in 2005 and currently serves as the Associate Director of Events and Operations for the Highsmith Student Union. In her role, she oversees the professional staff responsible for Campus Reservations and Technology Support as well as the Guest Services Desk and Building Managers Student Staff. She also helps implement large scale events and conferences. Silke is an active member of Association of College Unions International (ACUI). Prior to UNC Asheville, Silke worked at the University of Oregon University Housing for six years. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her dogs in the woods or compete in vintage sidecar racing.
