A life-long North Carolinian, Reid Chapman has spent his entire life making his way to Asheville. He has taught middle school language arts and social studies and first brought that experience to UNCA in 2003. When he has the chance Reid is in the woods or on the water.


  • M.Ed. in Middle School Education (Language Arts and Social Studies) from UNC Greensboro
  • B.A. in English (History minor) from UNC Greensboro
