Madison Merrifield (she/her) serves as the Assistant Director of Reservations & Event Services. Prior to serving in this role, she was an Area Director in Residential Education for two years; she also serves as a Title IX Investigator for the campus and is a two-time recipient of the Building Bulldogs Award. Before UNC Asheville, she worked at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (Go Vols!), Georgia State University (Go Panthers!), and Johnson & Wales University - Charlotte (Go Wildcats!), where she led many different events that give her a unique lens for her current role. She is a great resource for all things event planning, but it's not just rooms she'll find you! She's working towards visiting every coffee shop in the Asheville area, so feel free to ask her how it's going the next time you email her.
