Liv Barefoot (she/they) is a junior at UNCA who was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. They are majoring in Political Science with a minor in Human Rights Studies with hopes of going to law school and becoming a civil rights attorney. She is heavily involved on campus as not only the Student Body President but as a Voting Research Assistant, a Senior Editor for Dignity Journal, an Orientation Assistant, the Treasurer of the Political Science Club, and as an Honors and Leadership Scholar. They are also an intern with Inclusive Development International and a fellow with You Can Vote. She is most passionate about advocating for equity and justice while ensuring everyone has a voice.
