Divya Venkataganesan joined the N.C. Center for Health and Wellness in January 2022 as the Healthy Aging NC Falls Prevention Project Specialist. She manages activities related to coordinating, implementing, and evaluating the NC Falls Prevention Coalition Action Plan and provides technical assistance and support to Action Plan Small Groups, Facilitators, and Implementation Committee’s.
Divya also works for the NC Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Aging and Adult Services as the Planner/Evaluator in assisting with the development and selection of project planning and evaluation design procedures, techniques, and reporting.
After holding different positions in the healthcare field, as a nursing assistant, trauma program intern, and registered behavior technician, she sees how pivotal it is to work together to deliver quality care and execute reliably for a common goal: care for the population. Divya brings her extensive knowledge in community engagement, program planning, systems-thinking, performance improvement, research and clinical-background to the team.
In her spare time, she enjoys fitness, such as competitive bodybuilding, lagree and barre, and traveling.
