I moved from Wisconsin to join the Design and Construction (D&C) Department of UNC Asheville in November of 2014. As part of the D&C team, I strive to protect the University’s interests and ensure that construction projects are completed on-time and in-budget. I also assist the University in setting goals for sustainability and work closely with the Trades Department to maximize the efficiency of the mechanical and plumbing systems throughout campus to meet them.

Prior to joining UNC Asheville, I worked in the private sector as a consulting engineer where I specialized in the design of sustainable mechanical and plumbing systems. I also completed ASHRAE Levels 1-3 energy audits, created whole building energy models, and was involved in the design of multiple LEED certified buildings and an AIA COTE award winning building.

I graduated from the Milwaukee School of engineering with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and a master’s degree in environmental engineering. I am a registered Professional Engineer (PE), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified GeoExchange Designer (CGD), and a LEED AP BD+C.
