Hi there! I’m Chris (he/him/his) and I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I earned my B.A. in Sociology and B.A. in Spanish from Gardner-Webb University (2007) and my Masters in Counseling from UNC-Charlotte (2018). I’ve served in a variety of career roles (teaching, coaching, advising, counseling), and I’ve found that counseling is where I’m most fulfilled. I use counseling skills and tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and motivational interviewing all through the lens of validating needs in our bio/social/psychological individual ecosystems.

Ultimately, I love assisting others with cultivating meaning in their life and writing their own story! I work well with LGBTQIA folx, those who are struggling with anxiety and depression, and those who are facing life changes and/or major life decisions. Outside of counseling, I enjoy reading, hiking, trying new restaurants, kayaking, and hanging out with friends.
