Amy Jessee is UNC Asheville's Associate Chief Communication & Marketing Officer and editor, responsible for producing and editing UNC Asheville Magazine, developing editorial content for publications, the web and social media, and managing the news team.

Her prior experience includes working as Director of Editorial Services at Georgetown University and Assistant Director of News and Public Relations at the University of Mary Washington, where she earned a B.A. in English and business administration. In addition, she has served as Interim Director and Outreach and Grant Writing Coordinator for WorkLink Workforce Investment Board in South Carolina and taught English 103 at Clemson University, where she earned a master’s degree in professional communication.
