    Amy Jackson is the Senior Director of Member Engagement and Retention for the Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce. With extensive experience in human resources and customer engagement, Amy is the person who knows everyone and who fosters connections. Her background includes sales and event management.

    She also serves on the WNC Diversity Engagement Coalition, a network of organizations dedicated to bringing people together to collectively support the professional development, engagement, and inclusion of multicultural people within its member organizations and serving as a resource for organizations around best policy and practice regarding equity in the workplace.  Volunteering has always been a big part of her life; United Way, Asheville City Schools, Buncombe County, YMCA, Asheville Greenworks, and North Asheville Little League are organizations that she has given time.

    Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Auburn University, an Associate of Arts in Hotel Restaurant Management & Culinary Arts from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, and a Masters of Business Administration from Lenoir-Rhyne University – Center for Graduate Studies of Asheville.

    A long-time Asheville resident, Amy enjoys exercising, reading, camping and meeting new people.
