Amy Hanks has lived in Asheville since 1969, which has allowed her to experience our great community as a child, youth, and then as an adult. She loves WNC not only for its diverse group of people, but also for its beautiful landscape with all four seasons to enjoy. Hanks has been fortunate to raise her family here and work alongside her husband of over 25 years, Neal, who leads Beverly-Hanks Realtors.

Hanks has been in mortgage lending for over 30 years, beginning as a loan officer for a local bank before starting Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services in 2000. She began the company as the first loan officer for BHMS and eventually served as President. In August of 2022, she and her husband sold their three companies—Beverly-Hanks & Associates, Beverly-Hanks Mortgage Services, and Cardinal Title—to Howard Hanna/Allen Tate Companies.

She has stayed on as Executive Vice President of Sales for Howard Hanna Mortgage Services and works each day with clients to help them have a local choice for financing their new homes. Together, she and her husband love to work big, play big, and give big in Western North Carolina!
