I’m originally from New York but was mostly raised in Charlotte, NC. I started coming annually to the Asheville area for the LEAF festival at 6 years old and fell in love with this artsy and beautiful community. After graduating from Appalachian State University with my B.S. in Ecology and Environmental studies, I moved to Asheville and worked and volunteered with different research and conservation organizations.

I’ve held a lifelong love and respect for learning new things and exploration. I believe our careers are a way to do both and that crafting a career that reflects your values and interests is paramount to a successful and happy life. In my free time, you can find me re-enacting the Great British Bakeoff in my closet-sized kitchen, planning my next trip, hunting for weird secondhand finds with my partner, or making fiber art while watching bad reality TV.
