While completing his MPH in the joint Place-Based Concentration between UNC Asheville and the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health, Albert collaborated with members of NCCHW as a MPH Community Fellow to support the No Wrong Door (NWD) project’s research and to co-facilitate meetings with state agency leads in North Carolina. He has since joined the NCCHW as a Research Associate supporting strategic positioning, partnership sustainability, and research and technical assistance.

In 2022, Albert earned a B.S. in Biology with a minor in Neuroscience at UNC Asheville. He has staunchly advocated for communicating and scaling health equity solutions in policy through roles as a Student Health Ambassador, Student Government executive, and MAHEC intern. Albert’s work as an emerging leader in university committees, student organizations, and with communities at large has only deepened his commitment for greater awareness and accessibility of care for North Carolinians through practical, community-informed solutions.

Albert appreciates the serenity of a hike, making comfort dishes, and cultivating memories with friends.
