Built Like a Bulldog Personal Training Program

Built Like a Bulldog Personal Training Program is designed to help students, faculty, and staff decode the world of exercise with a little help from one of our certified UNC Asheville student trainers. Whether you need an introduction to weight equipment, help with your power clean technique, or want to see exercises that will strengthen your arms like Rocky’s, you can make an appointment with one of our trainers to walk you through everything you need to know. Prefer to work out with a buddy? Try DualFit, our personal training program with a partner.

Women’s Weightlifting Week

Women’s Weightlifting Week is all about helping anyone find their empowerment and progress to the next level of their physical (and mental and emotional) wellness! Held every March, all classes are taught by women and geared towards women. UNC Asheville students, faculty, and staff learn can learn the benefits of strength training, debunking common perpetuated myths about strength training, and how to find their strength. Choose between beginners topics for those who have never lifted a weight in their life, advanced topics for those who have attended in the past and want to beef up their established routines, and everything in between. No one will be turned away from events—our goal is to create a safe space for women to learn traditionally male-dominated subjects.
