SUMMARY:Public Talk: Mimicking Bioinorganic Chemistry to Tackle Greenhouse Gas Emissions
DESCRIPTION:Alex Heyer\, Ph. D. will discuss his research on the chemistry of methane\, a potent greenhouse gas\, and how novel approaches using copper-containing zeolites could help remove it. The talk in the Mullen & James Humanities Lecture Hall will explore how scientists can mimic bioinorganic chemistry to better understand methane reactivity and develop new strategies for addressing greenhouse gas emissions. \nThis event is free and open to the public. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n    Accessibility\nUNC Asheville is committed to providing universal access to all of our events.
