The UNC Asheville Spring Commencement will honor over 400 students from the 2023 graduating class at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 6, in the Sherrill Center’s Kimmel Arena.
This class of graduates is composed of 93% in-state students and 7% out-of-state students. The youngest graduate is 19 years old, and the oldest is 58. Also graduating will be six international candidates representing Brazil, Croatia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
Psychology and English are the two most popular majors, with 46 and 32 graduates, respectively Management, Environmental Studies, and Biology rounded out the top five.
The average class cumulative GPA comes out to 3.38.
The ceremony will be presided over by UNC Asheville Interim Chancellor Kimberly van Noort. The ceremony can be viewed via livestream on UNC Asheville’s YouTube Channel.
