Dive into your closet, grab your favorite “True Blue” clothes and be one the first 100 people at 9 a.m. or first 100 people at noon at Roasted Coffee Shop in Highsmith Student Union for free coffee.
After you grab your free caffeine, head to the Homecoming Banner Judging to see whose team will have the winning homecoming banner and walk away with a prize.

If you love a good competition and think you’ve got the speed for it, challenge your peers in the Amazing Race at 4 p.m.! First to complete the race across campus will be crowned Homecoming Amazing Race Champion.

If you’ve been working on your dance moves and need the perfect occasion to show them off, come Highsmith Student Union for Highsmith After Dark from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. This UNC Asheville tradition will feature a paint dance party, trivia (with cash prizes), novelty crafts, and more.
Alumni and the rest of the Bulldog community are invited to celebrate the accomplishments of the 2020 National Alumni Awards recipients at the 2020 National Alumni Awards Banquet. Your favorite Homecoming tradition is back and ready to take over the Quad! Grab your team, hop on a mini-tricycle, and race toward victory at the Bulldog Big Wheel Race at 11 a.m.
Rocky Olympics is the perfect time to show off your skills with competition, Bulldog camaraderie, free food and more! Head to the Main Quad at noon to celebrate Homecoming the Bulldog way.
Bulldog basketball starts with the Party on the Plaza, with a DJ, face-painting, and food and beverages for purchase from 12:30 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. in front of Kimmel Arena.
Then it’s time to head inside to root for UNCA’s Women’s Basketball team as they take on USC Upstate in the Kimmel Arena at 2 p.m. Then cheer on UNCA’s Men’s Basketball as they take on Presbyterian in the Kimmel Arena at 4:30 p.m. Alumni are invited to a family-friendly, special access zone in between games, where all UNCA Alumni and Friends can gather to enjoy food, drinks, and fun with fellow Bulldogs. Discover who will wear the crown and be coronated into the UNCA Homecoming Royal Family during the Men’s Basketball Game at 5:30 p.m.
Alumni are invited to close out Homecoming with your UNC Asheville family at the Salvage Station near downtown Asheville from 8 – 10 p.m. A lineup of alumni musicians will be taking the stage throughout the night. Cash/card bar available.
Back on campus, get ready to take on your friends in Homecoming’s grand finale, Laser Tag! Bring a friend or make a new one as we host indoor laser tag in the Highsmith Blue Ridge Room from 7-10 p.m.
