UPDATED DEC 9: The on-campus concert has been rescheduled for Dec. 17 due to the snow.
The Reuter Center Singers will present two holiday concerts, singing at the Biltmore House on Friday, Dec. 7, and offering a free performance at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 10 at the choir’s home base, UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center.
Now celebrating 20 years as the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute’s community chorus, the Reuter Center Singers, are directed by Chuck Taft and accompanied on piano by Nora Vetro.
The Singers will bring holiday music and cheer to the Biltmore House on Friday, Dec. 7 as part of Biltmore’s Candlelight Christmas Evenings series. This is a ticketed event requiring paid admission to the Biltmore Estate and a separate reservation. For information and tickets visit the Biltmore website.
Then, on Monday, Dec. 10, the Reuter Center Singers will present a free concert (with donations welcome) starting at 7 p.m. and featuring contemporary holiday songs, traditional choral music and classic carols, and followed by a reception for the audience and the singers.
