Niche’s 2023 Best Colleges in America rankings and grades are live, and the annual list showcases UNC Asheville as one of the best college locations in North Carolina, coming in at No. 3. UNC Asheville also lands at No. 3 among liberal arts colleges in the state–behind Davidson College and ahead of High Point University and Guilford College–and No. 7 for colleges for best professors.
In addition, UNC Asheville earns top 10 rankings in the state for best small colleges, best colleges for student athletes, best academics, top public universities, best college dorms, and best colleges for English and History.
Niche has nearly 500,000 college reviews from students, which it combines with data from the U.S. Department of Education and National Science Foundation. As stated on their website, “By thoughtfully combining the most accurate facts with reviews from real students, Niche gives prospective college students the most transparent and complete view of the schools they are considering.”
