UNC Asheville will celebrate Cherokee Cultural Week with special activities Nov. 13-15 and a keynote address by Principal Chief Richard G. All Cherokee Cultural Week activities are free and open to everyone.

TheatreUNCA will perform an entirely student-run production of She Kills Monsters, a fantasy play written by award-winning playwright Qui Nguyen, with four performances in UNC Asheville’s Carol Belk Theatre. Directed by UNC Asheville senior drama student Lea Gilbert, the show will premiere Nov. 14 at 7:30 p.m. with evening performances running until Nov. 16. One matinee will be offered at 2 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Presented by the Asheville Buncombe Food Policy Council, the Food Waste Solutions Summit is a regional gathering to disrupt food waste issues facing our communities, expand our networks, and inspire dynamic solutions.
