The North Asheville Tailgate Market is held every Saturday on UNC Asheville's campus in lot P28. Voted #1 Farmers Market in WNC, the North Asheville Tailgate Market (NATM) features local produce direct from area farmers, local baked goods, handmade crafts, music and more with over 65 vendors weekly. 

Register to vote or update your registration on National Voter Registration Day, September 19. Student volunteers will be tabling from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of Ramsey Library, in Reed Plaza, at the Governor’s Hall shuttle stop and on the first floor of Highsmith to register voters, help voters update their registration status and answer any election-related questions.

Executive Director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections and UNC Asheville alumna Karen Brinson Bell will be delivering a public talk on “What's Ahead for NC Elections in 2023 and 2024” on September 19 in the Blue Ridge South Room of Highsmith Student Union at 7 p.m.
