WNC Private School Fair

The 2019 WNC Private School Fair takes place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Sherrill Center, Ingles Mountain View Room. This event, free and open to everyone, is organized by off-campus sponsors, using UNC Asheville facilities.

WNC Private School Fair: Discover all the unique educational opportunities open to families in Asheville and the surrounding area!

Families are invited to the first annual WNC Private School Fair on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6 – 8 p.m. The fair will focus on schools who offer admissions to grades K-8.  The fair will be conveniently located at the UNC Asheville Sherrill Center in the Ingles Mountain View Room. Free parking available in nearby parking lots P9, P11, & P12.  (see the campus map here)

Learn how your family can be part of the private school movement.

Many of WNC’s local private schools and institutions will be there. Interested families can meet with representatives who will answer questions about their unique offerings, the grades they serve, and any scholarship or financial aid possibilities. Parents and potential students will have the opportunity to hear a short presentation from each school and meet their admissions officers. School packets and information explaining the admissions process will be available.

Funding Opportunities

Parents can also meet representatives from Open Doors of Asheville and Opportunities Scholarship of North Carolina. These organizations help keep private school affordable for families who qualify. Parents can learn information about making private school affordable and easy on their budget. They can talk with representatives and learn about everything they need to make their child going to one of WNC’s premier private schools a reality.
