Learn how changes in election law will affect your voting experience in 2023 and 2024.

Executive Director of the North Carolina State Board of Elections and UNC Asheville alumna Karen Brinson Bell will be delivering a public talk on “What’s Ahead for NC Elections in 2023 and 2024” on September 19 in the Blue Ridge South Room of Highsmith Student Union at 7 p.m.

The talk is part of a campus-wide celebration of National Voter Registration Day and will cover the implications of recent voting law changes and proposals for voters in North Carolina in upcoming election cycles.

Visitor Parking

Visitors may park in faculty/staff and All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
Prior to 5pm, any visitor (regardless of their reason for visit) need to adhere to the current practices listed on the parking website. Get your visitor parking permit here
