Visiting Writers Series: An Evening with Award-Winning Essayist John Jeremiah Sullivan

Sullivan is a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine, and the southern editor of The Paris Review. He writes for GQ, Harper’s Magazine, and Oxford American, and is the author of Blood Horses, Pulphead, and The Prime Minister of Paradise. The 2022-23 Visiting Writers Series presented by the UNC Asheville English Department. In 2023, UNC Asheville welcomes U.S. poet laureate Ada Limón on Monday, Mar. 20 and fiction writer Jamel Brinkley on Thursday, Apr. 6. Visitor Parking

Visitors may park in faculty/staff and non-resident All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
