UNC Asheville’s Turning of The Maples Virtual 5K Returns this Fall, Oct. 28-30, 2021; Registration Open Now

UNC Asheville’s Turning of the Maples Virtual 5K is back for a second year – bringing the beloved campus tradition of Turning of the Maples to participants wherever they are. Registration for the 2021 5k (3.1 miles) is $25 and includes an exclusive Turning of the Maples t-shirt and sticker, as well as the essential ingredients to celebrate the fall season – a packet of apple cider mix and a maple leaf cookie recipe.

A portion of the $25 registration also counts as a gift to the UNC Asheville fund, supporting students and programs across campus.

Participants can run/walk their 5K any time over the weekend of Oct, 28-30, 2021, and tag a photo or results of their run with #UNCAvl and #TurningoftheMaples to share with the UNC Asheville community and be eligible to receive a maple-leaf cookie cutter.
