UNC Asheville Student Poets at Asheville Wordfest 2019

UNC Asheville students Devin Carr, They McCutchen and Holt Mettee will read their poems as part of the Asheville Wordfest 2019 Poetry Reading, 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, 120 College St., Asheville. Admission is $8; free for students with ID and for BMCM+AC members.

Three Mars Hill University students, Ryan Davis, Levi Jessup and Jaime Kelly, also will read from their works. Richard Chess, Roy Caroll Distinguished Professor at UNC Asheville, and Eric Steineger, instructor of English at Mars Hill University, will co-curate the reading. Asheville Wordfest is sponsored by the Flat Iron Writers Room.
