ThreatreUNCA will stage performances of an original play created by students in collaboration with guest director Leon Ingulsrud of New York City’s SITI Company and based on John Cage’s Lecture on Nothing, April 18-20, in Belk Theatre on campus.

Curtain for Nothing’s Happening – A Black Mountain College Project will be at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday-Saturday, April 18-20, and there will be an additional matinee on Saturday, April 20 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 general admission; $10 for faculty/seniors; $7 for students, OLLI members and UNC Asheville alumni. These shows at Belk Theatre constitute a preview – the students will travel to Edinburgh, Scotland to premiere Nothing’s Happening at Festival Fringe in August, 2019.
