“The Right to Read” Documentary Screening

UNC Asheville will host a screening of “The Right to Read” at 2 p.m. and again at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 13 in Highsmith Union, The Grotto.
“The Right to Read” shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read. View the trailer here.
This event is co-sponsored by the Education Department, Read to Succeed Asheville, Literacy Together, and Mosaic Reality.

Visitor Parking
Visitors may park in faculty/staff and All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
Prior to 5pm, any visitor (regardless of their reason for visit) need to adhere to the current practices listed on the parking website. Get your visitor parking permit here
