Reuter Center Singers Holiday Concert

The Reuter Center Singers, the community choir of OLLI, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, will present their annual holiday concert at 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center, Manheimer Room. Admission is free; donations are welcome.

The singers, now in their 21st year and directed by Chuck Taft for their entire history, are dedicated to fostering community connections, and often bring musical uplift to veterans events and area retirement communities. With their holiday concert, the singers, accompanied by Nora Vetro, present contemporary holiday songs, traditional choral music and classic carols, and then welcome music lovers to mingle afterward at a free reception.

The Reuter Center Singers also will perform as part of the Biltmore House Candlelight Christmas Evening Series, on Saturday, Dec. 14.
