OLLI STEM Lecture – Math Partnership with Asheville Public Housing

The STEM Lecture Series at OLLI, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville, is free and open to OLLI members and non-members alike. The talks take place at 4:30 p.m. in Reuter Center Room 206.

Professor Sam Kaplan, chair of UNC Asheville’s Math Department, will describe his department’s Marvelous Math Club partnership with Asheville’s public housing communities, part of the department’s Asheville Initiative for Mathematics public outreach project.
