More about Marie Thomas

Born in Israel, Thomas married an Australian and lived in Australia for 20 years but has lived here for the last 20 years and become attached to the mountains and the people. She discovered the gift of poetry when she really needed it; writing poetry is a steady support that never failed her.

More about Wallace Bohanan

Born and raised in Brooklyn, N.Y., Bohanan joined the Army immediately after high school to try and miss the coming war in Indochina.  A year before he got out he was sent into combat in Vietnam. He subsequently joined the Black Panthers, was arrested and jailed three times, earned a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s in counseling, and became active in a spiritual church.
