The seventh annual OLLI Art Market, presenting works of art and crafts for sale, will take place from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 8, and from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Reuter Center, home of OLLI, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNC Asheville. Admission is free and open to everyone.
The OLLI Art Market offers a chance to get a head start on holiday shopping, with painting, photography, jewelry, textiles, wood working, fiber art, paper art, soaps and lotions, and more, presented for display and sale by OLLI members.
Special for this occasion, the pop-up “Sweet and Savory Cafe,’ featuring home-baked treats along with other snacks and beverages, will sweeten the deal and spice up your shopping. Proceeds from cafe sales will benefit the OLLI member scholarship fund.
