This special week is an opportunity to engage in conversation and share resources about food, body image, and exercise issues, with free, public events organized locally by T.H.E. Center for Disordered Eating with support from UNC Asheville.
Monday, Feb. 25
- Eating Disorder Awareness Table – 11 a.m.-12:15 p.m., Ramsey Library Lobby.
Tuesday, Feb. 26
- Tea Talk: Body Image – 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Ramsey Library Foyer.
Wednesday, Feb. 27
- Be KIND to Your Body – Body Positivity Table with KIND bars – noon-1 p.m., Student Recreation Center.
Thursday, Feb. 28
- Lunch & Learn – Understanding the Intersection of Autism, Eating and Sensory Processing Disorders, presented by Kim Clairy (also part of Disability is Diversty Week) – noon-1:30 p.m., Brown Hall 217. Bring your own lunch – water & desserts provided. RSVP required.
