Note: Tonight’s movie has been canceled.
Asheville Parks and Recreation has teamed up with UNC Asheville & Black Orthodontics to present Movies in the Parking Lot on Friday, May 14.
The free movie, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, begins at dusk on a giant outdoor screen in the parking lot on Campus Drive nearest the Broadway Street entrance to campus. Signage will also be posted on campus to help with navigation.
The lot will open at 7 p.m. with space available on a first-come, first-served basis. The movie will begin at sunset, approximately 8:30 p.m. This is a drive-in movie; no walk-in viewers will be admitted.
In case of inclement weather, the film will not be shown and the parking lot will be closed. Please check social media for updates the day of.
Food trucks will be on-site with food for purchase, and handwashing stations and portable toilets will be provided.

Visitor Parking
Visitors may park in faculty/staff and non-resident lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
