From February 28 to March 21 the Owen Hall New Media Gallery will host an exhibition exploring the craft of place for animation and interactive media, featuring 15+ regional and international artists.

“Material Worlds” calls attention to process and asks the viewer to consider the role of materials in design. The exhibition features scale miniatures, sculpture, interactive installations, background design, illustration, and a selection of animated short films from more than fifteen regional and international artists. 

The exhibit is curated by Forest Gamble, animator, illustrator, and lecturer of new media at UNC Asheville
