Leadership Education and Development: Braver Angels Workshop – Depolarizing Within

On April 22, UNC Asheville’s Office of Advancement, Braver Angels, and the Junior League of Asheville are hosting a Braver Angels Workshop “Depolarizing Within.” The workshop runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and is located in the Manheimer Room (102) of the Reuter Center. This event is free and open to the public.
Learn what is involved in developing attitudes, words, and using ways to talk with folks on the “other” side with whom we share a national past and future.
Discover how to be more aware of your own “inner polarizations;” learn how to be critical without demonizing, dismissing, or stereotyping; understand how to handle political and social conversations with peers when these conversations turn to contempt or ridicule for people with different views.

Visitor Parking
Visitors may park in faculty/staff and All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
Prior to 5pm, any visitor (regardless of their reason for visit) need to adhere to the current practices listed on the parking website. Get your visitor parking permit here
