History Day

On March 16, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., UNC Asheville’s Department of History will host History Day!
History Day is an academic program for 6th to 12th grade students focused on historical research, inquiry, analysis and creative expression. Students become writers, filmmakers, web designers, playwrights and artists as they create unique contemporary expressions of history and compete for awards in each category.
Activities will be in Highsmith Student Union and Karpen Hall on UNC Asheville’s campus.

Visitor Parking
Visitors may park in faculty/staff and All Permit lots from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, and on weekends, holidays, and campus breaks. Visitors are not permitted to park in resident student lots at any time.
Prior to 5pm, any visitor (regardless of their reason for visit) need to adhere to the current practices listed on the parking website. Get your visitor parking permit here
